♦All participates will receive a Thank you bag for participating.

♦We will have the following categories:

1. Best 1939 Film based Dorothy Gale Costume- Be as accurate as possible to the 1939 Film Dorothy, Judy Garland. Don’t forget the Blue socks!

2. Best 1939 Film individual Oz Costume- Non-Dorothy. Any Kansas or Oz character that appeared in the 1939 Film. 

3. Best Book or Non-1939 individual Oz Character- This can be a character based on a different movie about Oz, Stage Productions, Characters that have been in the Oz series of books, etc.

4. Best Oz Group of Characters- This is for a group of people who have dressed together as Oz characters. Participating members must be either Family or Friends. You can also compete in individual Costume Contests.

♦We will be having 1 costume contest on Saturday, Oct. 28th, 2023 and 1 costume contest on Sunday, Oct. 29, 2023

♦You can only participate in 1 costume contest per day. If you have tickets for both days you may participate on both days. But costumes must be different. Please submit 2 registrations.

♦We will have 1st and 2nd place winners in the Individual Categories and 1 winner in the Group Category.

♦All costumes must be based on Oz Books, Movies, or Stage productions

♦Group participants can be co-workers, families, friends, etc. Must be related in some sort of fashion.

♦We have an inclusive environment for all, gender of character and who is costumed as specified character does not matter. (Example: A boy/man is welcome to dress as Dorothy)
